View and filter catalog assets - Precisely Data Integrity Suite

View and manage all your cataloged datasources, their quality scores, datasets, and fields. Sort and filter datasources to find what you need. The Datasources page shows all your cataloged datasources with their quality metrics, datasets, and fields. For more information about datasources, see Supported datasources.

1. Go to Catalog > Datasources.
2. View datasources in card or list view. Each shows the datasource type, dataset count, fields, and quality scores.
3. Click a datasource name to open its details page.
4. On the Details page, review the following sections:
   • Description: Summary of the datasource.
   • Asset Type: The datasource type (for example, Snowflake Table).
   • Tags: Labels like 'Certified' for quick filtering and categorization.
   • Schemas | Datasets | Fields: Tabs showing child assets. Select multiple entries to edit, delete, or export them. Columns show Name, Quality Score, Governance Score, Base Type, and Business Terms.
5. Scroll down to view technical fields such as Created At and Updated By.
6. Click Edit to change the description, tags, or other metadata.
7. In card view, click a card to open a side panel with asset details. The active card has a purple border.
8. In list view, click a row to open a side panel with asset details. The selected row is highlighted in purple.

View and manage all your cataloged datasets. See dataset details such as name, datasource, type, and quality scores, then filter them by datasource type or datasource.

1. Go to Catalog > Datasets.
2. View the datasource, datasource type, number of fields, and quality scores for each dataset in card or list view.
3. Click a dataset name to open its detail page.
4. In card view, click a card to open a side panel with asset details. The active card shows a purple border.
5. In the side panel, click a row to open a secondary panel with asset details. The selected row highlights in purple.
6. Scroll down to view additional technical and system fields such as Created At and Updated By.
7. Click Edit to modify dataset information, including description, tags, and metadata.
8. In list view, click a row to open a side panel with asset details.
9. In card or list view, click the asset name link to go to the full asset details page.

View and manage cataloged fields. See field details including name, datasource, type, and quality scores. Filter by datasource type, datasource, semantic type, or dataset.

1. Go to Catalog > Fields.
2. View field information in card or list view. Each field displays dataset, datasource, datasource type, detected semantic type^{* Limited Availability}, data type, and quality score.
3. Click a field name to open its detail page.

   The Details tab shows information organized into sections:

   • Description: A brief narrative about the field.
   • Asset Type: The type of field.
   • Tags: Categorization tags for filtering and search.
   • Location: The field's path in the system, excluding the asset itself. Example: DATA_PLATFORM (Datasource) > SALES_SCHEMA (Schema) > SALES_TRANSACTIONS (Dataset).
   • Base Type and Semantic Type.
4. Scroll down to view additional technical and system fields such as Created At and Updated By.
5. Click Edit to modify field information, including description, tags, and metadata.
   Changes are saved according to your permissions and system workflows.
6. In card view, click a card to open a side panel showing asset details. The active card has a purple border.
7. In list view, click a row to open a side panel showing asset details.
8. In card or list view, click the asset name link to go to the asset details page.

Filter cataloged assets to find specific results quickly. All asset types (datasources, datasets, and fields) use the same filter operators and workflow. Available filter operators are: Is, Is not, Is populated, and Is not populated.

1. Click Filter button in the search bar to open the filter panel.
2. Select a filter type from the available options for your asset type.
3. Choose a filter operator: Is, Is not, Is populated, or Is not populated.
4. Select the checkbox next to each resource you want to filter for.
5. Click Apply.
   Only assets matching your filter criteria display.
6. To modify an existing filter, click the Filter button again. Change the operator, search term, or values as needed.
7. Click Apply to save your changed
8. To remove all filters, click the Filter button, then click Reset filter at the top-right corner of the asset list.
