The Governance tab enables the specification of business and technical asset types along with their associated attributes, thereby creating a robust business context for effective data management. It defines data types and provides detailed definitions for fields within asset types, enhancing the system's ability to accurately interpret the meanings and properties of these fields.

Additionally, the Governance tab supports the integration of models and policies that govern data usage and management. By establishing clear models, organizations can standardize data handling procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. The policies defined within this framework guide data stewardship practices, promoting accountability and maintaining data integrity across the organization.
