If you have the required permissions, you can view and edit workflow settings. The Settings tab on the Workflow page allows you to configure settings that apply to all workflows.
- Backup assignee for workflow forms: If the recipient specified in the workflow Email or Form activity cannot be found, emails will be sent to the backup. Choose from Role, Group or Specific User.
- Summary email for workflow assignments: A summary email can be sent to all users who have outstanding assignments. You can configure the system to send one daily workflow summary email to the relevant users, listing all open assignments. Alternatively, you can choose to send the email only on specific days, or not at all.
- Summary email subject line: By default, the subject of a workflow summary email indicates how many items require your attention, and the body of the email lists the open assignments by workflow, version and step. You can edit the subject line as required.
- ID Schemes in use: An assignment ID is a unique identifier given to a workflow instance. You can create assignment ID schemes to define the format for assignment IDs.
