Validation generates results which include details about problems found, prioritized by severity, and the number of errors and warnings that would occur if you committed the configuration. If the results are not what you expected, you can modify the configuration and validate again. After you make changes to the configuration of your replication project, or before you start your project, validate the project properties to check for possible problems before committing the changes to the runtime servers. Validation checks project details like whether the metabase is installed and the version is correct, all replication tables and column mapping information is correct, the data connections are valid, and the source database is online and running.

  1. Navigate to Integration > Continuous Replication.
  2. Click the ellipses next to the project you wish to validate, then select Validate from the dropdown menu. This will open validate configuration window.
  3. Review the information provided in the Validation Results section. If project commitment is not possible due to errors, this section contains details to assist in resolving the identified issues.
  4. To share the text, click the Copy to Clipboard icon to copy the information and paste it into a different application.
  5. Click Close to exit the section.
