Creating, viewing, or deleting diagnostic bundles aids in troubleshooting and performance analysis of the replication project. These bundles include logs, configuration details, and other relevant data. Effective management of diagnostic bundles allows you to quickly gather necessary information when diagnosing issues or assessing performance.
You can gather all relevant files (logs, configuration and connection information) for a specific project. The logs are retrieved from all the runtime engines used by the project.
- Navigate to Integration Continuous Replication.
- Click the ellipses next to the project you wish to validate, then select Manage Diagnostic Bundle from the dropdown menu.
- The Diagnostic Bundles page opens with a list of diagnostic bundles created for any project in the current workspace.
Create a diagnostic bundle
You can gather all relevant logs into a single bundle for troubleshooting. If further troubleshooting is needed, contact Support.
- From the Diagnostic Bundles page, click +Create Bundle to open the Create Diagnostic Bundle dialog.
- Enter a name for the bundle and a description. For the list of log files to collect, see Relevant log files for support. and click Create.
View a diagnostic bundle
Displays information about one diagnostic bundle such as status, creation date/time, user who created it, and the location of the file itself.
- From the Diagnostic Bundles screen, click a link of diagnostic bundle to open the Diagnostic Bundle Details page with information about bundles.
- Click Retrieving diagnostic bundles to fetch a bundle that has already been created. or click Cancel to cancel the operation.
Stop a diagnostic bundle
Stops the selected diagnostic bundles that are in progress. Files already retrieved are kept. A zip file is created and the status of the bundle is set to 'partial'.
- Select one or more diagnostic bundles from the Diagnostic Bundles page.
- Click the Stop icon to open the Stop Diagnostic Bundle page.
- Verify the number of selected bundles to be stopped. If necessary, view the information about why some bundles cannot be stopped. And click Stop.
Delete a diagnostic bundle
Deletes any selected bundles that are not in progress.
- Select one or more diagnostic bundles from the Diagnostic Bundles page.
- Click the Delete icon to open the Delete Diagnostic Bundle page.
- Verify the number of selected bundles for deletion. If necessary, view the information about why some bundles cannot be deleted. And click Delete.
Retrieve a diagnostic bundle
You can retrieve the zip file for the diagnostic bundle. The bundle is written to the job controller's Docker volume. Copy the bundle from the Docker container to the local machine where the Docker container is running.
