Add relationship to field lineage

This process involves manually adding relationships to a field lineage visualization, ensuring accurate representation of data flow and dependencies between different fields within a dataset.

This feature establishes relationships based on specific fields, such as joining datasets using a common field like "ID" or "Name." This represents the most granular level of data management, influencing only the fields that are directly involved in the relationship. It enables precise control over how data is interconnected.

To add a manual lineage relationship for a field:

1. Navigate to Catalog > Fields and select the specific field to which you wish to add manual lineage.
2. Go to the Lineage tab to view the origin card containing information about the selected field.
3. Enable Edit-Mode to start building lineage relationships manually.
4. You can hover over the card to view the data flow information. The card itself cannot establish a relationship with another card; only the items within the card can form relationships.
5. Two arrows or + (Add) buttons will appear in both directions. Hover over the arrows to select relationship direction, either downstream or upstream.
6. Select the relationship direction to open the Add Lineage Relationships side panel. This panel displays a list of available fields that can be related to the selected field.
7. If you want to add another field of the same type, type the name of the field in the provided search box. As you type, the system filters the list to show matching fields.
8. Click on the field you want to add as a downstream relationship from the filtered list. This action selects the field for the relationship.
9. Select the desired field from the list and then click Add. The selected fields will be added to the canvas in the chosen direction.
10. Review the card on the canvas to ensure the relationship is correctly established. You should see a line connecting the original field to the newly added field.
