A child reference list is a subordinate list that is created under a parent reference list, allowing for the organization and categorization of related reference items. It inherits properties from the parent list while enabling additional customization, such as naming and display format.
- Navigate to .
- Click the ellipsis next to a reference list name and select Add Child Reference List.
- An Add Child Reference List dialog will appear. Enter a Name for the child reference list.
- Define the Display Format field that references the
default
{Code}field and holds the reference list items. - Enter a Description for the child reference list.
- Click Create Reference List to save the child reference list.
