  1. On the main navigation menu, select Configuration > Replication Engines.
  2. On the Runtime Engines page, click +Add Engine to open the Add Runtime Engine dialog.
  3. Add the information for the Name and Description fields.
  4. Select an existing agent from the Agent dropdown.
  5. Select continuous replication from the Used for dropdown.
  6. It is recommended to keep the TLS encryption enabled between runtime engines.
  7. The default Hostname / IP address and port number are automatically populated based on the container names configured by the system.
  8. Enter Alternate replication IP address which will be used for a second attempt if the connection fails to the first Hostname / IP address.
  9. If you need to open a fixed port to get through the firewall, enter a value in the Data port number field.
  10. Click Test to verify the connection and check if the engine is up and running.
  11. Click Save and return to the Runtime Engines page.
