A change history serves as a record of all alterations made to an asset over time. It includes details such as the revision number, the object that was changed, the value of the change, the individual who made the change, and the date and time when the change occurred.
To access the change history for business asset types:
- Navigate to the and click on the specific business asset type you want to view.
- Go to the Change History tab to see the history of changes.
- In the change history list view, you will see change history table with the
following components:
- Revision/Action: Indicates the revision number and the type of action performed (for example, property value added, asset type created). Helps identify the sequence of changes and the type of modifications made.
- Object: Specifies the object or attribute of the business asset type that was changed (for example, Background color, Display format, Name, Asset type).
- Value: Shows the new value assigned to the object or attribute after the change.
- Updated by: Indicates the name of the user who made the change.
- Updated on: Displays the date and time when the change was made.
- Review the details in the table to understand what changes were made, who made them, and when they were made.
