To create and manage schedules, a run configuration must be applied to a pipeline, which can be done through the run button, settings, or pipeline list page. Schedules can be deleted from either the Schedules list page or the Pipeline list page by accessing the appropriate settings and selecting the delete option.

Note: Run configuration and scheduling can be set up simultaneously while creating a new run configuration.

To create a schedule, it is essential to have a run configuration applied to a pipeline. There are three ways to create a run configuration and apply a schedule to it:

Create run configuration from run button and configure a schedule:

  1. Create a run configuration.
  2. Once the run configuration is created, go to the schedule and enable the toggle button.
  3. Choose the occurrence of the schedule as per UTC time zone and click on Save.

Create run configuration from settings and configure a schedule:

  1. Create a run configuration.
  2. Once the run configuration is created, go to the schedule and enable the toggle button.
  3. Choose the occurrence of the schedule as per UTC time zone and click on Save.

Create run configuration from pipeline list page and configure a schedule:

  1. On the main navigation menu, click Quality.
  2. Under the Pipelines tab, find the pipeline for which you want to create a new run configuration.
  3. In the Name column, click the ellipsis and then select Run Configurations.
  4. Click + Create New Run Configuration. This expands the New Run Configuration settings.
  5. Configure settings for the new run configuration.
  6. Click Create to save the settings for the new run configuration.
  7. Once the run configuration is created, go to the schedule and enable the toggle button.
  8. Choose the occurrence of the schedule as per your local time and click on Save.

Delete a schedule

If you no longer wish to have a schedule enabled for any pipeline, it can be deleted. There are two ways in which you can delete a schedule:

Delete a schedule from the Schedules list page:

  1. Navigate to the Schedules tab.
  2. In the Name column, click the ellipsis and then select Edit schedule. This opens the side panel.
  3. Click on Delete schedule. This will remove the schedule for you.
  4. You can also directly delete the schedule by clicking on the Delete schedule option when you open the ellipsis menu.

Delete a schedule from the Pipeline list page:

  1. Navigate to the Pipeline tab.
  2. In the Name column, click the pipeline for which you want to delete the schedule.
  3. Select Settings and then select Run configuration settings.
  4. Click on Schedules and then select Delete schedule to remove it.
