The Import feature allows you to efficiently upload and manage business and technical assets within the Data Integrity Suite. To add new assets, other methods outlined are effective for a small number of entities. However, for managing larger volumes, the Import feature offers a more efficient solution. By utilizing this feature, you can compile multiple records in a spreadsheet and upload them to the Data Integrity Suite all at once. This is especially beneficial for tasks like uploading several business term definitions, etc.
Prerequisites
- Understand the custom fields custom fields you have configured for the asset types in the Data Integrity Suite. For more information, refer to Define fields on asset types.
- Perform and verify an import of a subset of your data, or even a single row, to reduce errors in your import before attempting to upload the complete data set.
