The AI functionality within Data Integrity Suite allows you to configure AI capabilities while maintaining strict adherence to security and acceptable AI policies. AI Manager supports integrating trusted and vetted Large Language Models (LLMs) so teams can control the models used in their workspace.
To access AI Manager:
These provide a structured approach to manage AI capabilities and LLM configurations at the workspace level.
Manage AI features
You must create at least one LLM connection before you configure AI features. If no LLM connection exists, the Features page displays a notification. Select Create LLM Connection from the banner, or open the LLM Connections page to set up a supported provider. After you configure a connection, return to the Features page to turn on AI capabilities.
The Features page controls the AI-powered capabilities available to your workspace. From this page, you can turn AI on or off, set your LLM model set preference, browse AI features by product area, and review feature health.
The feature table includes the following columns.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Feature | Name of the AI capability. |
| Status | Current execution or configuration status of the feature. |
| Model or Model Family | The model the feature uses, or Inherited if it uses your workspace default. |
| Enabled | Whether the feature is turned on. |
| Override | Opens the override panel, where you can assign different models to this feature. |
Each AI feature displays a status that tells you its current health.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Success | The feature is configured correctly and ready to use. |
| Warning | The feature is working but needs your attention. |
| Error | A configuration issue prevents the feature from using its assigned model set. |
| Failed | The feature failed to initialize or run. |
If a feature shows a Warning, Error, or Failed status, select the status indicator to view details. The details panel shows the capability name, agent type, model in use, configuration source, a description of the issue, and suggested actions to resolve it.
Each feature determines the set of models it can use in one of the following ways.
- Inherited: The feature uses the default model set from your workspace LLM model set preference. When you change your workspace default, all inherited features use the new model set.
- Overridden: The feature uses its own assigned model set instead of your workspace default. Only that feature is affected by the override.
When you set Large language model (LLM) set preference or override a feature model Preview, AI Manager shows Available and Selected model tables. These tables include Model family or models, Connection, Type, Status, and Deprecation date columns so you can review model availability before saving a model set.
Use the status filters to show Active, Inactive, Deprecated, or Removed models in either table. If a selected or inherited model is removed, the status indicator identifies the affected model. Deprecated models can still be used. AI Manager uses the next valid model in the model set when one is available, or shows an error that explains the model issue when no valid model remains.
Use these practices when you manage AI features.
- Configure your workspace LLM model set preference before setting up individual feature overrides.
- Use feature overrides only when a specific AI capability requires different models.
- Check feature statuses regularly to catch configuration issues early.
- Address warnings and errors promptly to keep AI functionality running.
- Remove feature overrides when a custom model is no longer needed.
Override an AI feature model
By default, each AI feature uses your workspace-level LLM model set preference. Features that use the default show Inherited in the Model or Model Family column. If a feature needs different models, you can override its configuration.
Apply an AI feature recommendation
When an AI feature has a warning with suggested actions, you can apply one or more recommendations from the Override panel. AI Manager applies the selected changes, validates the feature again, and refreshes the panel with the latest configuration.
Reset an AI feature model set to the workspace default
Reset a feature-specific override when the feature no longer needs its own model set assignment.
- Open the Override panel for the feature.
- Select Reset to Default.
Configure LLM connections
The LLM Connections page can be used to configure LLM connections at the workspace level.
To configure this:
- Go to .
- Open the LLM Connections page.
-
Select Add LLM Connection.
- Provide a name and a suitable description to the connection.
- Select the LLM provider.
- Select the associated provider region.
- Under Authorization, choose the authentication method.
- For access key authentication, enter the AWS access key ID and AWS secret access key.
- For AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) role authentication, enter the Amazon Resource Name (ARN) for the customer IAM role.
- For Azure AI Foundry Preview, enter the Tenant ID, Client ID, Client Secret, and Project URL.
- After you enter all details, select Test to validate the connection details. After successful validation, a confirmation message appears.
- Select Add. The configured LLM connection appears in the list.
- Open the context menu for the associated connection, then select Edit, Test, or Delete.
AWS IAM role setup for Bedrock
Set up a customer-owned AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) role so AI Manager can use temporary credentials to access Amazon Bedrock.
You need the workspace ID provided by Precisely and the Precisely global role Amazon Resource Name (ARN) for the environment and workspace region that you are configuring.
Use IAM role authentication as the preferred authentication method for enterprise deployments. AWS recommends this method when your organization does not allow long-lived AWS access keys for Bedrock access. The customer role trusts the Precisely global role and uses AWS Security Token Service (STS) to provide temporary credentials.
For production environments, use the Precisely global role ARN that matches your workspace region.
| Workspace region | Precisely global role ARN |
|---|---|
| US East (N. Virginia) | arn:aws:iam::508747789874:role/prd-us-east-1-precisely-customer-account-role |
| Europe (Ireland) | arn:aws:iam::508747789874:role/prd-eu-west-1-precisely-customer-account-role |
| Europe (London) | arn:aws:iam::508747789874:role/prd-eu-west-2-precisely-customer-account-role |
| Asia Pacific (Sydney) | arn:aws:iam::508747789874:role/prd-ap-southeast-2-precisely-customer-account-role |
The customer IAM role can be used for AWS Bedrock LLM connections. You can revoke access by removing the trust policy statement or the Bedrock permissions from the customer role.
