| Name | Specifies the name of data connection. This is a mandatory field. Example:AzurePowerBIDataConnection |
| Description | Allows you to describe the purpose of this data connection. Example: Connection to the AzurePower BI database for financial reporting. |
| Agent to access data | Select the agent from the dropdown that connects to the database. It helps securely access data from your network. |
| Host name | Specifies the host name that can be cloud Azure or on-premise server. Example: sqlserver.company.comkk |
| Azure cloud environment | Specifies the Azure cloud environment where your Power BI instance is deployed. Select from the available options: Azure global (Public), Azure China (21Vianet), Azure Germany, Azure Government (US Gov Cloud), Azure Government DoD L4, Azure Government DoD L5, Azure US secured cloud, or Azure US national cloud. The default selection is Azure global (Public). |
