This section provides you the details on various fields required to configure DB2 z/OS datasource in Data Integrity Suite.

Field Description
Name Specifies the name of data connection. This is a mandatory field. Example: DB2 IBMzDataConnection
Description Allows you to describe the purpose of this data connection. Example: Connection to the DB2 IBMz database for financial reporting
Agent to access data Select the agent from the dropdown that connects to the database. It helps securely access data from your network.
Host name Specifies the host name that can be an IP address or a domain name where the DB2 IBMz server is hosted. This is a mandatory field. Example: sqlserver.company.comkk
Port number Mention the port number to access the database server. The default value is 5031. This is a mandatory field. Example: 5031
Processing environment for cataloging

A selection field to choose the processing environment. This determines the context or location for cataloging operations.

  • Database: Specifies that the cataloging operations will be performed within the selected database environment.
  • Location: Specifies the location related to the processing environment. This may affect how data is accessed or processed.
