You can view the relationships and lineage of replication projects, pipelines, and related data assets in the Catalog. This visibility helps track how data flows from source to target systems and understand where each data element is used across the environment.

Key Concepts

  • A Replication Project contains metadata such as the Replication ID and its associated pipelines.
  • A Replication Project is considered an asset and can be associated with other assets such as Replication Pipelines, Log Readers, and Metabases. Additionally, a Replication Pipeline Asset is linked to both its source and target Data Connection assets.

  • The Data Integration Catalog allows you to view these assets and their relationships, and trace data lineage at datasource, dataset and field level.
Note: Lineage is a snapshot of the deployed changes, not of draft or committed changes. Relationships and lineage information becomes visible only after the Project is deployed.
