Learn how to view and navigate column-level lineage in a replication pipeline. Follow the steps to locate specific field names, view lineage diagrams, and explore related assets to understand data transfer and connections within the system.

  1. From the source table's detail page, locate a specific field name.
  2. Go to Catalog > Fields and search for the column.
  3. Open the field asset and view the Lineage tab.
  4. The diagram shows how this column transfers data to its corresponding column in the target system.

Note: Use the Sends relationship to trace the column-level flow from source to target columns.

Navigate from lineage to related assets

From the Lineage view of a Fields:
  1. In the Relationships tab, filter for Relationship Type: Sends Table.
  2. Click the Info icon in the lineage diagram.
  3. Click these fields to navigate directly to the associated Project or Pipeline asset.

This helps you quickly trace where a column or table is used and how it is connected to broader replication logic.
