This topic explains how to change field mapping for a subset of selected tables in the Data Integration product. It outlines the steps to select tables, adjust mapping options, and set or update default values for new targets.

To change the field mapping for a subset of selected tables:
  1. Select the number of rows you want.
  2. Click Change Mapping to open the Change Dataset Mapping dialog. The number counter displays the number of tables you selected.
  3. Select Map fields by or Include row metadata fields from the Changes tab.
  4. Select the Defaults tab to set the field mapping default values.
Note: The default values only apply to targets that do not exist and will be created.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Update Defaults to override the values you selected from the Defaults tab for all of the tables.
