Set column mapping allows you to align source and target columns, specify actions such as Copy or Ignore, and designate distribution keys. You can also reorder target columns if the option is available, ensuring accurate data integration between systems.

Note: If you see this icon (!) for any of the columns that indicates that the source and target columns do not match and the column does not exist. Once you click Save, the column will be added.
  1. Click Map Columns and the Column Mapping screen displays.
  2. Select the columns you want to map.
  3. Select Copy or Ignore for Action.
  4. Choose Distribution key(s) by clicking the checkbox for the columns.
  5. Toggle ON Reorder target columns to reorder columns by dragging and dropping columns.
Note: Reorder target columns only displays if the target does not exist / target exists (does not have schema).
