Managing assessment jobs involves overseeing the creation, configuration, execution, and monitoring of data quality assessments.

Stop assessment jobs

Stopping assessment jobs is crucial to prevent unnecessary resource consumption, protect data integrity, and maintain control over system processes. Prompt intervention can also help avoid errors and adapt to changing priorities efficiently.

To stop all underlying in progress jobs in assessment:
  1. Click Quality from the main navigation menu
  2. Navigate to Assessments.
  3. Click the ellipsis next to the associated job and select Stop all jobs.
  4. This stops the execution of all the associated jobs.
To selectively stop assessment jobs:
  1. Click Quality from the main navigation menu.
  2. Navigate to Assessments.
  3. Select the associated job type. This will display the Assessments page with all the job details.
  4. Select the checkbox next to the associated job and click Stop selected.
  5. This will stop the selected in progress job in the application.
Tip: Whenever an in progress job is stopped, the application UI reflects a stopping state providing feedback to users, especially when the process may take significant time to complete.
Note:
  • If a partial set of jobs fails within the application, the job execution status will be marked as failed. By hovering over the status indicator, users can view the number of jobs that succeeded, the number of jobs that failed, and the number of jobs that were stopped.
  • If any job is stopped in between, the overall status will be displayed as stopped, regardless of whether other jobs have succeeded or failed.
