The Data Integrity Suite uses a consumption-based pricing model where billing is based on the number of technical assets catalogued in your workspace.
This approach provides flexibility and transparency, allowing you to scale your usage according to your operational needs. The usage metering system automatically tracks and reports the total number of technical assets in your catalog. You can access these metrics at any time through your Data Integrity Suite workspace admin to monitor your current usage and plan for future growth.
Technical assets explained
Technical assets represent the foundational data infrastructure elements in your organization. These include databases, tables, schemas, and other technical data objects that are discovered and catalogued through connectors. These assets form the basis of your consumption-based pricing. Each technical asset added to the catalog contributes to your total asset count, which determines your pricing tier.
For more information about technical assets and how to configure them, see Technical assets tab in catalog.

Usage metrics explained
The Catalog Usage report displays the following information:
- Total technical assets: The total number of technical assets currently catalogued in your workspace. This number represents your current consumption level and determines your pricing tier.
- Time period summaries: Usage data summarized across different time periods to help you understand trends and plan capacity. Refer to the Time period summaries section below for details.
- Historical tracking: The system maintains historical records of your asset counts over time. This data helps you understand growth patterns and forecast future usage.
Usage metrics are summarized across five time periods to provide flexibility in monitoring your consumption:
| Time Period | Description |
|---|---|
| Last Hour | Use this for real-time monitoring of recent catalog activity. |
| Last 24 Hours | This period helps you track daily activity and identify usage patterns. |
| Monthly | This period is useful for understanding monthly trends and planning monthly capacity. This metric aligns with typical billing cycles and contract review periods. |
| Annually | Use this for annual planning and contract renewal discussions. |
Common use cases
- Track asset growth over time: Monitor the historical usage data to understand how your technical asset count has grown over different time periods. This information helps you forecast future growth and plan for capacity increases.
- Plan connector discovery activities: Use the usage metrics to understand the impact of your connector discovery activities. After running catalog jobs, check the updated asset count to see how many new technical assets were added to your catalog.
- Monitor multiple workspaces: If your organization uses multiple workspaces, you can view usage metrics for each workspace separately. This allows you to understand asset distribution across your organization and optimize your workspace configuration.
