When you apply an asset group to a domain, the grouping automatically propagates all child domains and related assets.

Limited Availability: This feature is currently available only in select workspaces and might be subject to change before general availability.
Asset grouping with domains enables you to organize related business and technical assets under a domain structure.
  • All child domains within the domain hierarchy
  • All related business and technical assets
Grouping automatically propagates through the domain hierarchy, ensuring consistent organization across all related assets.
  1. Go to Governance > Domains.
  2. Click a domain to open its details page.
  3. In the domain details, locate the Grouped Assets section.
  4. Click Link Assets to link an asset to the domain.
  5. Search for and select the checkbox for the asset you want to group with the domain.
  6. Click Link Assets to establish the relationship.
The asset is linked to the domain. The grouping automatically propagates to all child domains and related assets in the hierarchy.
  7. To remove an asset from the domain grouping, click the remove icon next to the asset in the Preview Selected Assets section.

The asset is now grouped with the domain. The grouping applies to the domain, all its child domains, and all related business and technical assets.

After grouping assets with domains, you can:

  • View all grouped assets from the domain details page
  • Use domain groupings to apply governance policies consistently
