Create and manage relationships between technical assets and between technical and business assets. View related business context inline in asset details, filter relationships by type, and delete relationships when no longer needed.

  1. Go to Catalog > Technical Assets.
  2. Select an asset type to view all assets in that category.
  3. Click an asset name to open its details view.
  4. Go to the Relationships tab.
  5. Click Create Relationship.
  6. Choose a relationship type from the dropdown menu. Select Maps to Business Terms for technical-to-business relationships, or select the appropriate type for technical-to-technical relationships.
Note: Only a single asset can be related for many-to-one relationship types.
  7. Click Select Assets to view available assets.
  8. Select an asset from the list and click Create Relationship.
  9. Verify the relationship now appears in the Relationships tab. For technical-to-business relationships, related business assets display in the related business assets section of the asset details view.
  10. Click the Filter button to view all relationship types and their counts.
  11. Check the box next to a relationship type to display only that type.
  12. Click the Information button next to a relationship type to view all assets related through that type.
