Audit logging provides a standardized, secure, and workspace‑scoped record of significant actions and events that occur across Data Integrity Suite (DIS) APIs. This capability supports regulatory compliance requirements (including FedRAMP expectations), enables customer investigations, and promotes operational transparency.
DIS audit logs are generated consistently across services using a common structure and are made available through a REST‑based query capability. Audit logging is designed as a platform‑level capability and applies across both commercial and FedRAMP environments. Access to audit data is governed by workspace context and security controls to help ensure integrity, confidentiality, and appropriate use.
What's logged
- authentication and authorization activity
- API access and request metadata
- administrative and configuration changes
- actions performed within a workspace context
Audit logs are intended to provide traceability of who performed an action, what action occurred, and when it occurred, without exposing sensitive payload data or internal system implementation details.
Customer access to audit logs
- investigating operational or security events
- supporting compliance and audit reviews
- reviewing historical activity for transparency and governance
Availability and scope of audit log access may vary by service and environment. All access to audit data is controlled and logged to help ensure proper use.
