Related assets inherit ownership information from their associated domains. You can view this ownership information in the asset details, filter assets by owner to manage assets by responsibility, and track governance assignments. You can also filter assets in the Catalog by owner to view all assets assigned to a specific owner or ownership type.
- Go to and select an asset type (for example, Business Terms or Applications).
- Select the asset name to open the asset details.
- Review the ownership information inherited from the related domain.
- Optional: To contact an owner, use the email address provided in the ownership information.
You can now see the ownership information
for the asset, which is inherited from its associated domain. This allows
you to identify and contact the responsible parties for the
asset.
You can also filter assets in the Catalog
by owner to view all assets assigned to a specific owner or ownership
type. This helps you manage assets by responsibility and track governance
assignments. Click the Filter button to open the
filter panel and select Owner from the available
filter options. The asset list filters to display only assets associated
with the selected owner. You can now view all assets for which a specific
owner is responsible.
