Connect your data pipelines to external services and Precisely APIs through the APIs tab. Configure API sources and endpoints once, then reuse them across pipelines and workflows to integrate external data and services seamlessly.
The APIs tab in Configuration lets you manage API sources and endpoints for use in your data pipelines and workflows. You can configure endpoints from Precisely APIs or external APIs, then invoke them using the Make API Call step in a pipeline or activity in a workflow.
What you can do
- Add API sources by uploading OpenAPI specifications in JSON format
- Configure authentication methods (Basic, API Key, or Bearer token)
- Define API endpoints and map request and response parameters
- Reuse endpoints across multiple pipelines and workflows
- Manage both Precisely APIs and external APIs in one place
Who can access this feature
You must have the Workspace Manager role to access the APIs tab. The Datasource Manager role has View and Manage access to API sources. The Quality Designer role has View access only.
