Configure authentication for the Salesforce connection.

Salesforce authentication uses an OAuth 2.0 username-password flow. Provide the Salesforce username and password, the security token when applicable, and the client ID and client secret for the Salesforce Connected App. The Salesforce user must have access to the metadata that you want to catalog.

Connected App

Before configuring authentication, create a Connected App in Salesforce and enable OAuth settings. Salesforce identifies the client ID as the Consumer Key and the client secret as the Consumer Secret.
