Note: Metadata extraction is available only with the Advanced Connectivity Bundle (ACB) entitlement.

Required Presto permissions

The Presto user requires the following privileges:

  • Access to the Presto cluster coordinator (HiveServer2 or Presto native access)
  • SELECT privilege on all catalogs, schemas, tables, and views to be cataloged
  • If Presto is backed by Hive Metastore, read access to the Hive Metastore
