The Overview page provides a central dashboard for monitoring governance health, identifying coverage gaps, reviewing assets that require attention, and understanding how governed assets and domains are being used.

The dashboard shows governance health information with usage signals. Governance metrics help you understand the condition and coverage of governed assets, while usage information helps you identify assets and domains receiving attention.

Note: The dashboard populates metrics from live workspace data sourced from governed and trusted records.
  1. Go to Governance > Overview.
  2. Review the Coverage Overview panel.
This panel shows Average Governance Score, Ownership, and Policy cards, including current percentages, target indicators, and asset counts.
  3. Review the Coverage Gaps panel. Preview
This panel shows summary counts for assets with no ownership, no classification, and policy gaps. The priority rows highlight assets by severity, sensitivity, asset type, domain, and missing ownership, classification, or policy information.
  4. Review the Gap Distribution chart. Preview
The chart breaks down total coverage gaps by ownership, classification, and policy signals.
  5. Select Full Gaps view in the Coverage Gaps panel. Preview
The Coverage Gaps view opens with summary tiles, a total count badge, filter controls, and a sortable table for assets within your access.
Search by asset name, or filter by All Gap Types, All Severity, All Sensitivity, and All Asset Types. The table shows Severity, Asset Name, Type, Domain, Sensitivity, Missing Signals, and Last updated date information.
  6. Review Asset Usage and Adoption.
Use this information to understand how users are engaging with governed assets and domains.
  7. Review the Top Assets by Visits panel.
Use this panel to identify frequently visited assets and compare their Context, Quality, and Governance score indicators. This helps you understand which assets are receiving the most attention and assess the governance health of those assets.
  8. Select a domain in the Governance Score by Domain panel.
Use the domain selector to view governance score distribution for a specific domain, including Good, Average, and Bad counts.
  9. Review the My Assets panel.
Use this panel to see assets assigned to you as an owner or steward. The panel shows Total Assets, Fully Governed, and Have Gaps counts, and lists your top assets with Name, Type, Domain, Role, Coverage, and Action Needed information. Select an asset name or an Action Needed item to open asset details.
  10. Select View All in the My Assets panel.
The full My Assets view shows Asset Name, Type, Domain, Role, Classification, Coverage, Action Needed, and Last Updated details. Classification values represent Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Critical Data Elements (CDE), or no classification.
Search by asset name, or filter by Role, Type, Coverage, and Action Needed. The stats update for the filtered results, and pagination controls let you choose how many rows to show on each page. If filters return no results, the view shows No assets match your current filters.
  11. Select Have Gaps in the My Assets panel.
The full My Assets view opens with the Coverage filter set to Have Gaps.
