Set up IBM Db2 for Linux, Unix, and Windows (LUW) as a data connection for replication pipelines in the Data Integrity Suite.

Before you configure IBM Db2 for LUW as a replication connection, ensure you have the following:

  • IBM Db2 for LUW database server hostname or IP address
  • Database name
  • Database port number (default is 448)
  • User credentials (username and password)
  • DBMS version information
  • JDBC driver version information
  • An agent configured to access the database

IBM Db2 for LUW can be configured as both a source and target for replication. You can set up continuous replication to keep data synchronized in real-time or near-real-time.

  1. In the Data Integrity Suite, navigate to Datasources.
  2. Click Add connection or select an existing IBM Db2 for LUW connection to edit.
  3. For detailed configuration instructions, refer to the IBM Db2 for LUW documentation.
  4. Toggle ON the replication option and choose the replication engine from the dropdown list
  5. Click Test Connection to verify that the connection is configured correctly.
  6. Click Save to save the IBM Db2 for LUW replication connection.

You've successfully configured IBM Db2 for LUW as a replication connection. The connection is now available for use in replication pipelines. You can now create or edit replication pipelines that use this IBM Db2 for LUW connection as a source.
