Set up Oracle as a data connection for replication pipelines in the Data Integrity Suite.

Before you configure Oracle as a replication connection, ensure you have the following:

  • Oracle database server hostname or IP address
  • Oracle SID or service name
  • Database port number
  • User credentials (username and password)
  • JDBC driver version (11g or 12c)
  • An agent configured to access the database

Oracle can be configured as both a source and target for replication. You can set up continuous replication to keep data synchronized in real-time or near-real-time.

  1. In the Data Integrity Suite, navigate to Datasources.
  2. Click Add Datasource or select an existing Oracle connection to edit.
  3. For detailed configuration instructions, refer to the Oracle documentation.
  4. Toggle ON the replication option and choose the replication engine from the dropdown list
  5. Click Test Connection to verify that the connection is configured correctly.
  6. Click Save to save the Oracle replication connection.

You've successfully configured Oracle as a replication connection. The connection is now available for use in replication pipelines. You can now create or edit replication pipelines that use this Oracle connection as a source.
