Set up SAP as a data connection for replication pipelines in the Data Integrity Suite.

Before you configure SAP as a replication connection, ensure you have the following:

  • SAP application server hostname or IP address
  • SAP system number
  • SAP client ID
  • User credentials (username and password)
  • SAP drivers uploaded to a bundle folder
  • An agent configured to access SAP

SAP can be configured as both a source and target for replication. You can set up continuous replication to keep data synchronized in real-time or near-real-time.

  1. In the Data Integrity Suite, navigate to Datasources.
  2. Click Add connection or select an existing SAP via ODP connection to edit.
  3. For detailed configuration instructions, refer to the SAP via ODP documentation.
  4. Toggle ON the replication option and choose the replication engine from the dropdown list
  5. Click Test Connection to verify that the connection is configured correctly.
  6. Click Save to save the SAP via ODP replication connection.

You've successfully configured SAP as a replication connection. The connection is now available for use in replication pipelines. You can now create or edit replication pipelines that use this SAP connection as a source.
