Edit resource limits and environment variables for an agent service from the Services tab before applying the changes.

You must be a workspace admin or have the Agent Manager role. If you have view-only access, the Edit Configuration option is not available from the service context menu.

Use Edit Configuration when a service needs different CPU, memory, or environment variable settings. Configuration changes are not applied until you review the preview and confirm the update.

  1. Go to Configuration > Agents.
  2. Select the agent name to open the Agent Details page.
  3. Select the Services tab.
  4. Open the context menu for the service and choose Edit Configuration.
  5. Edit the resource values in the Edit Configuration dialog.

    The resource request must be less than or equal to the corresponding limit. The dialog shows the node allocatable capacity to help you choose values that fit the agent host.

    Field Description
    CPU Request Minimum CPU reserved for the service.
    CPU Limit Maximum CPU available to the service.
    Memory Request Minimum memory reserved for the service.
    Memory Limit Maximum memory available to the service.

    Enter numerals only. Invalid characters, spaces, commas, and decimals show an error below the field.

  6. Add, edit, or remove environment variables as needed.

    Use Add Variable to add a row. Each row has a Key and Value field, and rows can be removed from the Action column.

  7. Select Preview Changes.
  8. Review the before and after values on the Preview changes view.

    The preview groups resource and environment variable changes and marks each value as Modified, Added, or Unchanged.

  9. Select Confirm changes.
A success message appears when the service configuration is updated. If the update fails, an error message appears and the configuration is not saved.
