Review the access required to configure an Oracle Data Warehouse Administration Console datasource.

Overview

The Oracle DAC bridge can import PowerCenter metadata referenced by Data Warehouse Administration Console execution plans. The import user must be able to read the related PowerCenter folders.

Required permissions

You must have read permission on the PowerCenter folders that contain the metadata to import, and the Access Repository Manager privilege to access the PowerCenter repository content.

For the initial metadata harvest, use an administrator account to confirm that the full repository content can be extracted without access permission issues. After validation, your administrator can choose a restricted user with the required folder access.

Test the connection and metadata harvest before cataloging to confirm that Data Integrity Suite can read the selected DAC execution plans and related PowerCenter metadata.
