View quality and governance score rollups for domains and child domains, and filter domain scores by datasource.

Domain scores summarize data health and governance health across the assets linked to a domain. Parent domain scores include assets from child domains, while each child domain still shows its own score.

  1. Go to Governance > Domains.
  2. Select a domain.
  3. Open the Scoring page.

    The page displays the domain quality score, domain governance score, score values for child domains, and a no-score state when the domain has no linked assets.

  4. Review how domain scores are calculated.
    Score Description
    Governance score Average governance score for business assets and technical assets linked to the domain and its child domains, combined with the domain's own governance score.
    Quality score Average data quality score for technical assets linked to the domain and its child domains. When a table and its fields are both linked to the domain, the table score and field scores are not counted twice.
  5. Review no-score conditions.
    A domain displays no score when it has no linked assets, child domains without scored assets, or a datasource filter with no matching assets.
  6. Choose a datasource filter to recalculate the domain score for one datasource.
    The score values update to include only linked assets from the selected datasource.
    Note:

    If no linked assets match the selected datasource, the domain displays no score.

    No error is shown when a datasource has no qualifying assets.
