You can view your module, feature, and dataset entitlements within Data Integrity Suite from the Subscriptions and Track service consumption pages. These pages provide a complete overview of the resources available to them, so you can manage and use the suite capabilities.

Note: You must have the Workspace Manager role to view information about metered parts of the subscription and their usage.

To make the most of entitlements and subscriptions, you should:

  • Regularly review the Subscriptions and Track service consumption pages to stay informed about available resources.
  • Work with Precisely Support to adjust entitlements and subscriptions as needed to align with changing business requirements.
  • Ensure that all necessary entitlements and subscriptions are in place to avoid disruptions in service.

Entitlements: Entitlements in the Data Integrity Suite define the features and functionalities available within that workspace. An entitlement can encompass a product or multiple features. Entitlements ensure that you have access to the specific features and datasets you have purchased or are trialing.

Entitlements are crucial for:

  • Defining the scope of features available in a workspace.
  • Ensuring access and ensuring compliance with the terms of service.
  • Providing a structured approach to feature allocation within the suite.

Subscriptions: Subscriptions in the Data Integrity Suite are related to the datasets and modules that you can access. They refer to the set of products or features that you purchase as part of a service contract. These are placeholders for allocations purchased until they are assigned to a workspace as entitlements. In the following scenarios where subscription is linked to:

  • Single workspace: All allocations are assigned to that workspace entitlement.
  • Multiple workspaces: The total allocations across all workspaces equal the allocations in the subscription pool.

Review subscription details

Subscriptions are essential for managing service contracts and ensuring you access the features and data you need for your operations. They are important for:
  1. Go to Account > Subscription.
    What's changed: In the new user experience, the Account menu appears as the menu labeled with your account name. For more information on the new experience, see About the new user experience.
  2. The Subscription page displays information about:
    • End date of your subscription
    • Current workspace name
    • Hosting location of your workspace
    • Workspace owner's email address
  3. Understand dataset subscription requirements:

    A dataset subscription is required to run a quality pipeline. Without it, you can only add, configure, and preview steps that include dataset fields. Each dataset in a workspace collection needs its own subscription, which varies by platform. Contact Precisely Support to acquire the necessary subscriptions. Shared Precisely datasets are available in the PRECISELY_DB database on Snowflake or Databricks.

    Note: Running a pipeline with a transformation step that uses an unlicensed dataset will cause the job to fail or skip the step.

    This table lists the datasets required for each pipeline step:

    Dataset collection Transformation steps utilized
    Explore subscription datasets The Enrich step utilizes enrichment datasets from the Precisely Data Catalog. These datasets supply information for locations within the United States.
    Explore subscription datasets The Verify & Geocode Address step uses the Geo Addressing datasets. The Step Properties step uses the world dataset - Geocoding World Places Geocoder.
    Spatial datasets The Search at Point step uses the Spatial datasets.
  4. Check dataset subscription requirements for specific pipeline steps:

    Configure quality pipelines that need a dataset subscription are marked with a subscription icon. You can hover over this icon to receive more information about the subscription.

    Note: Workspace administrators have the ability to view detailed subscription information through a link provided in a dialog window or in the step configuration panel.

    To identify and check data subscription requirements for specific pipeline steps in a workspace:

    1. Go to Quality > Pipelines to access the pipeline panel displaying the steps in a pipeline.
    2. Open the Add Step dialog for the pipeline and identify steps marked with a subscription icon.
    3. Hover over the subscription icon to reveal a dialog window. Within the dialog, select the Check Subscription Details link.
    4. The link redirects you to the Subscription page, where detailed dataset subscription information is available. You can also check the details in the Usage page.
    5. In the step configuration panel, search for the Needs Data Subscription heading.
    6. Select the Show details link.
    7. Select the Check Subscription Details link to view the Subscription page.
You now understand your subscription details and can verify which datasets are required for your pipelines. You can check subscription requirements before running pipelines to ensure all necessary datasets are available.
