You can invite new users to a workspace in the Data Integrity Suite for better collaboration. You can invite a single user or multiple users to a workspace and optionally assign them to the respective groups with the specified permissions. You can also find users and view details about their assigned roles and status.
Invite users
To invite users to a Data Integrity Suite Workspace:
- Go to on the main navigation menu.
- Navigate to the Users tab.
- The Users page displays the following details.
- Users: Displays the name of the user
- Email: This field displays the email associated with the user
- Status: Displays the current status of user sign-up
- Invited: Indicates that the invite was sent to the user but the user is yet to sign-up to the application
- Joined: Indicates that an invite was sent and the user successfully signed up to the application
- Roles: The total number of roles assigned to the user
- User Groups: The number of user groups the user is associated with
- Security Policies: Displays the total number of security policies the users are assigned to
- Last Updated: Displays the date when the user details were last updated
- If the list is long, use the Search bar to locate any user.
- Click + Invite User and enter the email
addresses of the users you would want to invite to the workspace. You can
optionally assign the user to the respective groups. Multiple email addresses can be
entered in the field. To input multiple email addresses, type an address and then press
the comma key, the spacebar, or the enter key. Alternatively, you can click next to the
address you've entered. Repeat these steps for each new email address you wish to
add.Note: The invitation can be sent to a maximum of 10 users simultaneously.
- Once the details are entered, click Invite.
This would send an email invite to the users from the application with the details of signup. Upon clicking the link received via email, the users would be prompted to setup a suitable password and then enter the first name and last name. Upon entering the details and clicking sign in, the users would be logged in to the application.
- Joined: Indicates that the user successfully signed up to the workspace via the link received over the email.
- Invited: Indicates that an invite was successfully sent to the
user. However, the user is yet to sign-up to the application.
The details of the user can be viewed in the Profile page within the Accounts section.
View user details
To view a user's details:
- On the Users page, click the name of the user you want to view the details for.
- The following details are displayed in the respective tabs
- Details: This tab provides all the personal details of the user.
- User Groups: Provides details on the users groups that the user is assigned to.
- Roles: Displays the roles that the user is assigned to.
- Security Policies: Displays rhe security policies assigned to the user.
- You can modify the assigned user groups, roles, and security policies for a user.
- Click Save.
Resend a user invitation
The invitation can be resent if a user has already been added but has misplaced the original email and needs to establish system access: The invitation can be resent only to those users having the Invited status in the application.
- On the Users page, use the Search box to locate the user. Confirm the email is correct.
- Click the ellipsis next to the user's name and select Resend Invite.
- The system will confirm that a welcome email has been re-sent.
Remove a user
To remove a user and prevent that user from accessing the entire system:
- On the users page, use the Search box to locate the user.
- Click the ellipsis next to the user's name and select Remove.
- The Remove User dialog box opens confirming the user details with a warning message that the user would no longer be able to access the workspace.
- Click Remove to confirm.
