Observability allows you to take prompt measures that help prevent costly and time-consuming data issues. It has three major components:
- Alerts are generated whenever an anomaly is detected based on the Observers created and the rules configured in the system.

- The Observer monitors your selected data assets and generates periodic alerts. This tab provides an option to create a new Observer and also lists all the exisitng Observers.

- Profiler scans your data assets and identifies problems related to correctness, completeness and validity in the data.
