Start all replication pipelines
When you stop a project to perform maintenance in your production environment, you can then manually restart it again.To start replication pipelines:
- On the main navigation menu, click Integration > Continuous Replication tab.
- Select the project that contains pipelines that you want to run.
- Select the check box to select all projects.
- Click the Start selected pipelines icon. The Start Replication Pipeline page opens.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Start to start the pipelines. One of the following occurs:
- If there are no errors, the window closes. The start process may take a few seconds to finish, after which the statuses for the project (except for Capture) show as OK.
- If there are problems with the starting the project, an error message displays alerting you to the problems.
- Click Cancel to close the window without starting the project.
- Click Start to start the pipelines. One of the following occurs:
- When you start the pipeline, you will see options for copying datasets before
replication begins. The available options are:
- Do not copy datasets: Select this option if you do not want to copy any datasets.
- Copy all datasets: This option will copy all available datasets and then start replication.
- Select datasets to copy: This option allows you to choose specific datasets from the list to copy before replication.
Note: These options are only available for Copy and Replicate types of continuous replication pipelines.
To start replication pipeline(s) in a project:
- On the main navigation menu, click Integration > Continuous Replication tab.
- Select the project that contains pipelines you want to run.
- Select the checkbox to choose all pipelines or select the checkbox next to the pipeline you want to stop.
- Click the ellipses icon on the global menu.
- Click Start Log Reader to open the Start Log
Reader window. The window displays pipeline details along with log reader
information and sequence number.
- You can select the sequence number to Resume from the last read(Warm),
- Alternatively, you can Specify the sequence number by choosing values for Journal Receiver and Sequence Number from the dropdown menu, where the default values are 'Currently Attached' and Last in Receiver, respectively.
- Once sequence number is selected, Click Start to start the pipeline(s).
- If there are no errors, the window closes. The start process may take a few seconds to finish, after which the statuses for the pipeline(s) show as OK.
- If there are problems with the starting the pipeline(s), an error message displays alerting you to the problems.
- Click Cancel to close the window without starting the pipeline(s).
Stop All replication pipelines
After you start a project, you can manually stop it at any time.
To stop replication pipeline(s) in a project:
- On the main navigation menu, click Integration > Continuous Replication tab.
- Click the project that contains pipelines you want to stop.
- Select the checkbox to choose all pipelines or select the checkbox next to the pipeline you want to stop.
- Click the ellipses icon on the global menu.
- Click Stop Log Reader to open the Stop Log
Reader window.
- The window displays pipeline details along with log reader information.
- Click Stop to halt the pipeline(s). The window will close. In the Replication Pipelines dialog, all statuses will change to Stopped for the pipeline(s).
- Click Cancel to close the window without stopping the pipeline(s).
- The window displays pipeline details along with log reader information.
